Field trip to the Childrens Museum

CC is thoroughly enjoying preschool so far, and we were able to go with her to her first class field trip to the Children's Museum.
She remembered the pretend bank from the first time she was there and that is were she wanted to spend all of her time.
The kids were happy to take money from her.
L got to attend too, and he had a great time.
His favorite was driving the fire truck, "wee ooo, wee ooo!"
This is her class! So fun!

Back to School

The two big kids successfully started the school year. They were both very excited, and slightly nervous, for their new adventures into 1st grade and PreK.

K was excited to see his friends again, and I think he was getting kinda bored of being home all day, but he said he was going to miss me and he kept checking to make sure I was going to miss him too.
C was more than excited to start PreK. She got into the same program that K did 2 years ago. Same classroom, same teacher, etc. She knew the drill already, but was slightly nervous about "being away from me." But she walked into the classroom and sat down and got to work like she had been doing it everyday! After school she even said, "Mom, I forgot about you a little bit," which means that she was having so much fun that she wasn't worried about missing me. Glad she loves it!
L was not going to be left out of the picture taking. He got right in line and kept saying "cheese" until we were done taking pictures.
Here comes the bus!!
Like a champ!
Very fortunately, C has a good friend in the class; and very fortunately for me, they live close and we are carpooling every day. Driving to the Y only once a day is heaven! :-)

C was cracking me up while we were taking pictures! I did not give her any instruction on posing, and during this sequence she would change her leg position every time she heard the camera click. I was dying!
