Happy Easter!

I hope everybody had a great Easter weekend, because we sure did over here!
It started a few days early when we got a box of Peeps as a gift. Cadence has decided that they are her new favorite food!

On Saturday morning, the kids and I attended our Wards Easter egg hunt. It was Cadence's first egg hunt, and she did pretty well.
The missionaries talked a little bit about the meaning of Easter before the kids were let loose. You can see Keegan right in the middle of the crowd.
Cadence sat and listened too.
Here they are on the move!
Here they are examining their loot.
Me and my kiddos.
After naps my parents and my brother and his fiancee came over for dinner.
Cadence loves her Grandpa, and will sit with him all day, if she can.
Tom & Brittany, to be married in June!!
After dinner, Matt and I snuck outside to hide some Easter eggs. Keegan caught on and started peeking outside.
And then he started jumping around, pointing and saying "bunny eggs! bunny eggs!"
It was time to hunt, and this time Cadence knew what to do.

They both, had basket-fulls!
Another surprise for Keegan was a bag of goodies from Matt's boss which included this awesome Star Wars blanket. He hasn't slept without it yet!

Matt found this funny suckers with rabbit teeth on them.

They make for a great family picture!
... and when we tried to get one with out the bunny teeth, Cadence was not happy.

My Mom's birthday is later this week, and since we were all together, we celebrated her too. I ordered a gluten free chocolate cake from a friend of ours who is a professional pastry chef, and who has perfected his own recipe for gluten free cake. It was really good.

My future sister-in-law is a chocolateer, and she brought some other yummy treats.

First off, I want the chocolate cake. Second, I want those bunny teeth suckers! How awesome! Third, what the heck was up with that Easter weather? Ridiculous. At least you got some happy hunting in between the rain and snow storms!
