While Grandma and Grandpa were here K had a few fun things going on that we were able to do with him and leave the little kids at home. First there was a Fall Festival (read: fundraiser) were he was able to play some games, go on the bouncy slide, and scoot through a haunted maze. Matt and I had fun hanging out with him, one-on-one, and getting a small tour of his school.
I also got to go on a field trip with his class to the local pumpkin patch. K would give me a big hug or hold my hand tightly and then would run off and play with friends, then come back and hug me. It was a great time.
His Kindergarten class.
Mrs. Wilson
The first week of school when K was teary-eyed missing me this guy put his arm around him and said "it's okay bud, I miss my mom too." I hope he always has friends like that. :-)

Ahhh, fundraisers... I think from Patrick's K class alone we've already had 4, and he's only been in school 2 months! The festival looks like fun, though, I'm a sucker for giant blow-up slides :)
I love this... he is such a cute kid! We totally love Mrs Wilson. All three of my kids had her for Kindergarten. Please tell her hello for us!
