September was a busy month. (WAS?!?! How can it be October already!) The kids are growing up so fast, and are keeping me on my toes.
Cadence is on the move! She goes back and forth between crawling and inch-worming across the house, and she now pulls herself up on everything she can. The biggest news of course is that we can put her hair in pigtails, or more accurately Cadybug antenna!!! We tried last Sunday, and her has has been in pigtails every day since.

At the beginning of the month we got to spend one last weekend at the cabin before heading up to close it up. It was absolutely gorgeous outside and we spent as much time enjoying it as we could.

I think this face is hilariously-cute.

Great picture of my boys.

We like to wait outside for dad to come home from work. Here Keegan is teaching Cadence how to drive.

She is ready to go!

Cadence enjoyed her first "real" trip to the Childrens Museum. The last time we were there she was only a few months old. She really enjoyed crawling all over the place and checking out all of the toys.

They have a very cool new exhibit where you can play with bubbles, and experiment with making bubbles with different instruments. Keegan spent a long time here.

We have started a toddler-preschool with a few friends from church. There are 6 two and a half to three year olds in the group. Each week a different mother has all of the kids at her house and does a little lesson and activity. The first week they did Name Recognition, here is
Day 1 and
Day 2. The second week they did
My Body. The third week they learned about
Manners. And then the fourth week it was at my house and we talked about families. The first day I had family paper dolls in piles of "mommies," "daddies," "brothers," "sisters," and "babies." Each kid got to pick out which family members they had in their family and then they got to color them.

Here are the six toddlers at snack time. (Keegan is in the high chair because we ran out of big chairs.)

The second day I had pictures of each of the members in the childs family through their grandparents. We talked about who each person was and they glued them onto a family tree. It was really cute when each kid realized that I had pictures of them and their family, they were very excited.
Here are Alli, Bridget, Tanner and Lindsey showing off their family trees.

And Keegan Bridget and Lindsey.

Here is Keegan's family tree. It's posted on the wall, and he likes to look at it daily.

Today is the 1st day of October, and we bought the kids matching glow-in-the-dark PJs. Pretty cute huh? Keegan is very much looking forward to Halloween this year.
