A Keegan Post

With the plethora of photos and posts about Cadence recently (due to her 1 year birthday) I have been wanting to do a post about Keegan, but for some reason it has been really hard to figure out what to say, and I don't know why. Keegan is growing-up so much. It blows my mind what a "real person" a (almost) three year old is. He has his mind made up about what he likes and doesn't like and he is learning how to vocalize it all. He comes up with the funniest expressions and sentences daily, and I wish I kept a journal to record them all because by the time Matt gets home I forget what he said.
He has an amazing imagination. He is always fighting dragons, "bad guys," robots, etc. with whatever stick-like toy he can find. Every night he has Matt tell him a bedtime story, and most recently he has been dictating the story to Matt. Each story always includes some kind of situation that needs to be solved, Sir Keegan comes to the rescue and then always goes home where King Daddy tells him he did a good job and that it is time to go to bed.
He still loves his tot-school that we are a part of. It was my turn a few weeks ago and my subject was the numbers 6-10. (It's actually really hard to teach numbers 6-10, because you can't neglect numbers 1-5. So really I taught 1-10.) The first day they counted different shapes and glued them onto a paper with boxes for each number. The second day they stamped their hands on paper and I numbered each finger. Below is all but one of the kiddos. They thought the activity was a whole lot more fun that I predicted.
Keegan loves his sister, and she adores him even more. There are many unsolicited hugs and kisses between them each day. Cadence watches everything that he does, and tries to do the same thing. If he sits still long enough, she will venture to give him some cuddles.
I can't say enough how much I love my two little people and how wonderful I think they are.
