It is a BEAU-T-FUL fall day today!! Finally a blue, sunny sky, although it is a brisk 60 degrees. We had a fun morning going to a Pumpkin Patch!
| The first thing we did was a fun kid-sized corn maze. |
| We tried to get a group shot, but nobody was interested. |
| Inside the maze. |
| Next we went on a hay-ride out to where we got to pick out our pumpkins! K was having so much fun with his new buddies he didn't even sit by me. :-) |
| But me and my buddy CC hung out together. She kept saying "choo! coo!" |
| Ridin' on the 'train.' |
| K's pumpkin! |
| C's pumpkin! |
| Next they gave us warm apple cider doughnuts and fresh apple cider. |
| C loved the corn box. (much easier to clean off than sand) |
| It's hard to explain this, but they had a BIG "jumping pillow." It's just an inflated thing, on the ground that we all got to jump on. |
| K reluctantly did the little slide, but what he really wanted to do was the big slide. I wish I had caught C's face as she went down this slide! She was terrified as she went down, but then immediately asked to go again. (Dad, does that remind you of anything?) |
| This fun little set-up allowed the kids to pump the water, which pushed the ducks down the track and then back to them. |
| Can you say adorable?!? |
We literally could have spent hours doing each activity, but we had to move pretty quickly to get home for lunch and naps. But we had such a great time that I think we will bring M back on the weekend!
