What we did ...

... before we left Colorado. We were able to see and say goodbye to a lot of friends.

We had a playdate with buddies Jake and Reece

We had a picnic with buddies Aubri and Peyton (not pictured Noah, Danger and Joshua)

We played dress-up with buddy Trissy.

CC looked SO cute in this tu-tu that Trissy insisted that we take it home. :-)

We went to a local lake with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Monkey and rented fun-shaped paddle boats.

The girls rode in the duck boat! CC picked it out!

She had a fun time, and still talks about it today.

The boys rode in a dragon boat. K picked it.

After the boats we played at the park. I can't believe Grandpa went on this slide ... over-and-over!!!

 Grandpa hurt his knee and had to spend some extra time resting in bed ... so we joined him.

We met our friend June at Chuck-E-Cheese for a fun morning.

We got to go watch our friends fly their hot air balloons.

K thought the fan to blow up the balloon was too loud!

"That's a big balloon!"

They put the kids to work too. I don't think they weigh enough to hold the balloon down.

...better if Grandpa helps.

"Ba-oon!"

Uncle Monkey and Aunt Brittany had us over for dinner one evening and we went to the park by their apartment.

 

 This is what my poor parents house looked like on a daily basis. They were so wonderful to put us up for 3 weeks before we moved. And we were so lucky to be able to spend that extra time with them.
