Advent Day 9
Our activity on the 9th was to "Go see some fun Christmas lights" which we did, but I forgot my camera!! Argh! It was a local business who puts on an incredible Christmas light display (Mom & Dad, think downtown Honolulu) and on one weekend they have an open house with Santa, carnival rides, horse-drawn carriages, train rides and more! And it is all free! There were a LOT of people, and we only chose one ride to go on because of the long lines, but the kids had fun. We had to take a school bus from a nearby parking lot and the kids thought that was more exciting than the event itself! :-)

I'm guessing the Christmas light display in Honolulu is a little bit warmer, too :) And you're right, 40 degrees is totally warm enough to play outside, but it's weird! It sounds SO COLD!
I am just catching up on your blog, I am loving the advent things you did. We totally forgot our camera when we went to the light show too. Next year.
