Swim Lessons

The kids took intensive private swim lessons during the month of July. It was pretty incredible to watch them learn as quickly as they did. Before starting lessons C was only comfortable with her little float on, and K could crab crawl around the perimeter of the pool and doggy-paddle for a few feet. Now C can swim several feet doing the front-crawl, dive to the bottom to grab toys and float on her back and K can swim the length of the pool doing the front-crawl or back stroke, dive to the bottom of 5 foot deep to get toys AND more!! And they love to swim!! C had a little bit of a hard time getting comfortable with the lessons, and for 8 out of 12 lessons she whined and cried and bargained with the teacher, but the teacher wouldn't budge and made her learn anyways. It was so great and I wish that we had the time to keep going, but on to more things!
