We have been super busy lately with our fabulous visitors!! Grandma & Grandpa Porter came to check out our new 'digs.'
We took them to our famous water fountains (of course).
We went to one of our favorite restaurants, the Circus Cafe.
This is why it is one of our favorites ... the cotton candy!!
Cotton candy facial hair...
K 'helped' Grandpa with the leaves.
We finally got our new pellet stove up and running and have been enjoying a cozy fire every evening.
We went to the National Historical Park, where the battle was fought which was the turning point of the Revolutionary war.
C loves horses, or 'hirses' as she calls them, so it's fun to have these around town.
Right now my kids fit under the horse, I'm sure they won't for long!
This is a cute one before church.
We are having SO much fun with Grandma & Grandpa here! Besides all of the fun stuff we have been doing around town, we have been very productive around the house! Grandpa has raked/blown the leaves twice, organized the garage, hung curtains, moved cable cords and more! Grandma (with only a little help from me) has made 4 lasagnas, 3 meatloafs, 3 bags of meatballs, and 3 enchilada bakes all to freeze and for us to defrost at a later date!! Not only that, but she has kept us well fed with lunches, dinners and desserts!! We are now going to take a few days off from cooking before Thanksgiving. We love having them here and might just not take them back to the airport next week. :-)
