Halloween Weekend

We are just coming off of our (sugar) high from the wonderful weekend we just enjoyed;
Aunt Jess came for a visit and we had a LOT of fun with her.

We picked her up at the airport:
We went the Ward's chili cook-off and trunk-or-treat.
Batman striking a pose:
My cuties with their buddy J.

It was snowing outside so they moved the trunk-or-treat indoors and the kids just went room-to-room around the church.
We carved pumpkins:
We took Aunt Jess to fill water bottles:
We drank lots of apple cider and ate apple cider doughnuts:
We drove 3 hours to Vermont to go to the Ben & Jerry's factory:
Since it was Halloween, Buzz Lightyear was our tour guide!
Of course the best part of factory tours are the free samples!
Ben & Jerry's has some nice land with a playground ...
... and a flavor graveyard.
It's where all the "old" flavors are laid to rest.
We visited a local mansion and saw lots of fun stuff including PONIES!
And on Halloween night we went trick-or-treating!
We had such a fun weekend with Aunt Jess! It was so wonderful to have her here and the time flew by WAY too fast. We love her SO much, and miss her SO much more!

Here is my bug last year and this year with her favorite candy, lollipops.

Good to see ward chili cook-offs and Halloween parties are as universal as Halloween itself :) Cute costumes! I want to visit that flavor graveyard.
