The Polar Express

We were invited to the media party for the Polar Express train that is coming to town. That meant that they needed a bunch of cute kids in their pj's to visit the train so that they could take pictures of them for the local newspapers, magazines and news shows. The Polar Express is a book and movie about a boy learning to believe in Santa, we actually haven't seen it but we had a great time!

All the kids waiting to get on the train. Can you find K and C?
K and his buddy J with the train conductor.
That's J's sister M, who is about 6 months younger than C.
Getting the tickets punched.
They got cookies ...

And hot chocolate ...
Yum!

Then Santa got on the train and gave bells out to every kid who believed in him!
Sweet M. She finally warmed up and didn't glare at me the whole time. She's got a good glare. :-)

Sweet C, just chillin'.
They had a great time! The train wasn't actually ready for the cold weather trip so we didn't get to go for a ride, but it was a fun experience anyways!

We caught Santa afterwards for a picture. Doesn't he have a great mustache and beard?
C didn't want to leave the train and I had to pull her out of there kicking and screaming.

I love the comment about Minna's glare. It made me laugh. I am about to unofficially knight you playgroup photographer. You are the best at taking alot of good pictures. Thanks again for the ride that day.

Polar Express is one of my favorite Christmas movies :) I love Tom Hanks, so that's a huge part of it for me... hope you guys get to take the train once it's up and running!
