Little C is potty training herself ... sorta. I am not pushing it at all, but I am not at all discouraging her. Personally I am not a big fan of potty training since it can be messy, and really at this age it is more training me to remember to put the child on the potty every 1/2 a hour than training the child. So, as with K, I am letting her set the pace. She has been interested in the potty for awhile since that's what her big brother does, but until this week she would just sit occasionally sit and toot. Early this week she started telling us that she needed to "poop [pee] on the potty," but it was after the fact. But the last two days she has been telling us that she needs to go, and she does!! It's not completely consistent, but she is doing great. She is very motivated by candy, like her brother; but if one Skittle at a time is what it takes, so be it!
